Dad and I were listening to the 1940s music channel on the computer this evening while we sat outside and enjoyed one of the most beautiful late summer days Dad could "ever remember". You can listen to it here for free: AOL Oldies 1940s Channel. I asked him if this music brought him back to his teenage years in the 1940s. "I didn't think I ever left." He replied. How wonderful that Dad can remember the fun of his high school years and skip right to retirement! |
