Dad was in the hospital for 6 days, and he was confined to a backless hospital gown for the duration.. As many of you know, Dad prides himself as being a "dapper gentleman" and is always concerned about his appearance. When he was still hospitalized, he was standing in front of the mirror, combing his hair. "This shirt is horrible." he grumbled, "I would NEVER have bought a shirt that shows my chest hair and ties with a bow." "I don't have to go anywhere in this thing?" he asked. "All the parties are cancelled because of weather tonight, so you can change into another shirt tomorrow." I replied. "Good, because this shirt is ridiculous." he said with a sigh. Yes it was. |
