Dad had an eye appointment today.  They say he has a cataract and glaucoma in his left eye.  I just want to weigh the benefit of him being able to see at night, against any type of surgery that will cause any discomfort for Dad.

I had the appointment card out on the table, as not to forget the appointment, and Dad must have asked me 20 times and I kept asking him if he wanted to skip it, or just get the eye fixed.

Each of the twenty conversations resulted in a different answer or discussion on his part, so I still have no idea what he wants to do, and it was driving me insane.

Finally, I just took the card away and told him to get ready for his regular Wednesday therapy.

He smiled as he put on his regular Wednesday tennis shoes on his regular Wednesday therapy day and walked out the regular Wednesday door.

No more questions!
