Dad got another UTI and we have been battling it for the last two weeks. 

Since KnowItAlz is supposed to share the "funny and lighter side of caregiving", I decided not to write any blogs during that very un-funny time.

Now Dad is better and I was explaining to my friend why I have not been in touch lately.  When I told her about the UTI, she came back with a very common southern phrase, "Bless his heart".

"That's not what needs blessing."  I replied.  "His heart is fine."

Dad needs the blessing, he just needs it below the waist!
