I was putting Dad's pills into his plastic weekly container today, when I noticed that I had accidentally run out of stool softener.

"Oh, crap." I said. 

"If we are out of stool softener, I may not be able to." Dad replied with a smile.

His stool may be slow, but his wit is quick!
