Each time Dad and I pull back into our driveway after an outing, he looks at the house and says, "Well, this looks familiar." And each time I respond, "That's a good sign." "It's the only white house with blue writing in the neighborhood." He says, referring to the foam insulation panels that have covered our old siding since 2004 when Dad moved in with us. David is a contractor and works 7 days a week, so if he ever does have a day off, the last thing he feels like doing is work on our house! I told Dad that once we do finally get the siding up, David is going to paint it white with blue writing so he will still recognize it! |
